The trade in substandard synthetic fibers was a market niche that our company founder, Karl-Ludwig Franke, identified in 1954 – one that we, as a family business, have consistently dedicated ourselves to ever since. In the 1970s, after achieving market maturity, we logically expanded our product range to include high tenacity filament. We were among the first to offer polyester filament high tenacity in spun dyed colors.
